The French autronaut Jean-Francois Clervoy visited IES Lund on a Friday in March. After a grand enterance on the school yard where he was greeted by all the students there followed an exciting and interesting Q&A where our students got to know such things as how one sleeps in space and how thin the atmosphere actually is.

Jean-Francois Clervoy (who can call himself both astronaut and cosmonaut) works for ESA, the European Space Agency and he has done three missions to space: he has visited the Russian space station MIR and also been a part of fixing the flying telescope Hubble. All in all he has spent 28 days, 3 hours and 5 minutes in space!
